#SummerWonderland Competition Terms and Conditions

The Prize: Return Economy flights for one friend to fly ex any Air New Zealand port in the Northern Hemisphere to New Zealand. Should the prize winner be a resident of Australia, then they will also win a Return Economy flight to New Zealand from any Air New Zealand port in Australia to meet their friend, flying on Air New Zealand aircraft. Prize value up to $4000.

1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.

2. Entry is only open to New Zealand and Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

3. Conditions of Entry:
How to Enter:
An eligible participant must comment on either the AU or NZ original #SummerWonderland Facebook post with the name of the person they would like to fly over to New Zealand from one of the Air New Zealand ports in the Northern Hemisphere, and to tell us why.

4. Participation in the Promotion is limited to one entry per person. Air New Zealand (the “Promoter”) its employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

5. Promotion commences 12 December 2016 6:00pm NZT and closes 18 December 2016 11:59pm NZT (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry.

6. One winner will be selected according the skill of the entry on 19 December 2016 at 12pm. Attempts will be made to notify the winner by Facebook. Proof of purchase of the song will be requested. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner prior to 21 December 2016 8am NZT, then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) will be conducted. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. The Prize return flights for one friend to fly ex any Air New Zealand port in the Northern Hemisphere to New Zealand. Should the prize winner be a resident of Australia, then they also will be given a return flight to New Zealand from any Air New Zealand port, flying on Air New Zealand aircraft to meet their friend. The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included (as stated in this clause 8), including (where applicable) accommodation, transport, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals.

8. Prize must be booked by 25 December and completed by 24 March 2017 and is subject to booking and flight availability. Any changes to booking are subject to availability at the same fare level and a booking fee

9. The prize cannot be converted into cash and is not transferable.

10. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.

11. All prize travel will be subject to Air New Zealand’s Conditions of Carriage, to view visit https://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/conditions-of-carriage. Prize travel will not be eligible to accrue Airpoints Dollars™ or Status Points and cannot be used in conjunction with Air New Zealand’s Airpoints™ Programme or any other carriers’ frequent flyer schemes.

12. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.

13. Neither the Promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

14. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner’s details and photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
