The MEXICONOW project (www.mexico-now.com), launched in November 2002, is an international business magazine with a bi-monthly print run of 25,000 issues and 82 editions published so far, with international circulation. Each edition is focused on different industrial sectors and topics, including permanent sections, articles, research reports, interviews, success stories from companies with operations across the country, statistics, among others. MEXICONOW maintains the electronic version of its magazines within the reach of its subscribers, through its specialty website.

MEXICONOW is the only media outlet targeting the entrepreneurial and industrial sector in English language.

With the purpose of bringing entrepreneurs and potential investors an objective analysis of the business conditions in Mexico, SIFSA has organized through MEXICONOW, over 90 specialty events for the automotive and aerospace sectors in Mexico, US, Canada, England, France, Spain and Germany.

The strategies for information dissemination through publications available by subscription and courtesy issues delivered at the different events and both national and international congresses; from web pages and electronic bulletins, make it possible for this information to reach the hands of the main decision-making actors in renown firms.

By means of this project and the activities and products related to it, SIFSA succeeds in motivating foreign investors so that, by considering the competitive advantages this country offers, they would choose to have manufacture and distribution operations based in Mexico, hence supporting the creation of jobs and development of regions where these capital investments are allotted.

According to data from the Ministry of Economy, Foreign Direct Investment in Mexico during 2015, added up to US$28,382.3 million, out of which US$14,205.1 million were invested in the manufacturing industry.

In 2015, the FDI amount recorded in Mexico went up to US$2,753.2 million, that is a 10.7% larger amount than the FDI reported during the same period in 2014 (US$25,629.1 million).
